The Magicians
Towards the end of 2011 the UK Bungee Club was approached by a TV production company and asked to assist in a performance of a stunt for a television programme called The Magicians. The programme saw a number of magicians over six weeks perform a variety of tricks and illusions with celebrities. Daredevil - CBBC
This October UK Bungee had the enjoyment of working with the DareDevil as they put three arents’ fears to the test courtesy in order to win a once in a lifetime prize. Breaking Magic
UK Bungee recently enjoyed another TV appearance, this time with the Discovery Channel’s Breaking Magic. Breaking Magic is a new television series aired on the Discovery Channel USA and Discovery Channel International. The tv show sees a group of international magicians perform a variety of tricks and illusions in front of a live audience. Don't Tell the Bride
UK Bungee's final TV appearance of 2012 saw UK Bungee work with the extremely popular TV show Don't Tell the Bride. Famous for allowing the groom to plan and organise a £12,000 wedding without any input from the bride, Don't Tell the Bride has been a hige success since it's launch in 2007. Every wondered what it must be like to be a bird of prey diving from 160ft into a river to catch fish? The ONE Show approached the UK Bungee Club with the following small request: To float several large foam fish on the Tees River, while their presenter bungee jumps from the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge and attempts to catch one. Top Gear Festival - Johannesburg
A completly unique and bespoke project for the Top Gear Live team; car bungee jumping was the brief... Can it be done? In front of a live audience? In Johannesburg in a couple of months time? Top Gear Live - Moscow
Following the success of the Top Gear Live car bungee earlier this year in Johannesburg the team decided that it would be the perfect way to introduce the Top Gear Live Stunt Show to Russia. Big Brother 2011 - Channel Five
The UK Bungee Club was approached by Endemol to work on Channel Five’s Big Brother 2011. With a few options open to the Big Brother Team such as a bungee jump, a winch-out and a catapult from the garden, it was decided that a bungee jump directly above the garden would form an excellent addition to the contestants ‘YES’ challenge. Wonderbra's New Product Launch
Last month UK Bungee was approached by Wonderbra to assist with a product launch that would see a competition winner bungee jumping in front of a cleavage on a giant Wonderbra photo. Oh and the press that would be present, meaning that the stunt would have to be perfect on the first attempt. Spots v Stripes
David Seaman and Gavin Henson set a new Guinness World Record by completing the highest game of catch in the UK ever. The purple balls, provided by the Cadbury Spot v Stripes campaign, plummeted to ground level from a massive 102.5 meters. Both contestants had several failed attempts as the balls we progressively dropped from higher levels. A game show in which contestants are eliminated in a variety of crazy and outrageous ways. UK Bungee were approached to provide and help facilitate the bungee aspect of the game show which required all contestent to be stood on a trapdoor attached to a bungee chord around 100ft in the air.
